On Wednesday, December 16, the Ascension Parish Sheriffs’ Office Warrants Unit received a crime stoppers tip in reference to a fugitive wanted for attempted first-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, and possession of a firearm by convicted felon from Baton Rouge.
Deputies, along with assistance from the Gonzales Police Department, located 28-year-old Irvon McCay where he was arrested and booked as a fugitive from another jurisdiction. Deputies also arrested a female acquaintance that was with McCay, 28-year-old Bianca Brown, who was also wanted from principal to attempt first-degree murder.
McCay was additionally charged for possession with intent to distribute Heroin and possession of marijuana as they were located in his possession during the time of his arrest.
Both were booked into the Ascension Parish Jail and will be transported at a later date to the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail.
