APSO arrests Sorrento man on multiple drug charges after receiving anonymous tip
Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division received an anonymous tip that a subject was selling drugs out of a residence. According to Chief Deputy Bobby Webre, detectives began an investigation and arrested 38-year-old Jonathan Beaureau on multiple drug charges as a result of the investigation.
On July 10, detectives executed a search warrant at 44383 Bureau Street in Sorrento and located a quantity of methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, fentanyl, suboxone, and vyvanse. Narcotics detectives also seized three handguns and approximately $3,500 in cash.
Beaureau, of 44383 Bureau Street, Sorrento, was charged with possession with intent to distribute suboxone, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute vyvanse, possession of marijuana, three counts of possession of a firearm by convicted felon, three counts illegal carrying of weapons, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail where no bond has been set yet.
