APSO ARRESTS TWO BATON ROUGE MEN FOR BURGLARY – 2/22/2017 1:00 PM

Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Bobby Webre reports that on Monday, February 20, deputies responded to a residence on Germany Road in reference to a burglary.

Deputies learned that two black male suspects were seen fleeing the area in a red Dodge Neon prior to deputies arrival. Deputies located the vehicle on Highway 44 and conducted a traffic stop and located stolen items inside the vehicle, along with a quantity of marijuana.

Deputies later learned that the suspects stole two rifles and a pump shotgun from the residence.

Rauol Dunn, 25, of 1315 Bob Petit St., Baton Rouge, was arrested and charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. His bond has been set at $25,000 by Judge Verdigets.

Eric Moore, 24, of 5917 Robertson Ave., Baton Rouge, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, and theft of a firearm. His bond was set at $275,000 by Judge Verdigets.

Both men remain incarcerated at the Ascension Parish Jail.
