APSO ARRESTS TWO IN CONNECTION WITH NOVEMBER BUSINESS BURGLARIES – 11/21/2018 1:33 PM

Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Bobby Webre reports the arrests of a 15-year-old male juvenile and 18-year-old Jade Lejeune in connection with the November 12 burglary of the Flea Market of Louisiana, located on Airline Highway in Prairieville, and Allen’s Body Shop, located in Sorrento.

Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Detectives began an investigation and learned that the juvenile and Lejeune forced their way into both businesses taking a firearm, various miscellaneous items, and a quantity of money.

Lejeune, 18, of 8373 Oak Street, Sorrento, was arrested on Tuesday, November 20, and charged with simple burglary, theft of a firearm, theft, simple criminal damage to property, and criminal trespassing. He was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail where no bond has been set.
