APSO DETECTIVES ARREST SIX ON MULTIPLE DRUG CHARGES 9/6/2019 1:15 PM

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division arrested six individuals on Wednesday, September 4, for multiple drug charges, according to Sheriff Bobby Webre.

Detectives began investigating several complaints of drug activity for several weeks at a residence on Dogwood Street in Gonzales. Detectives obtained a search warrant on the residence and located six individuals. During the search, detectives located a quantity of marijuana, synthetic cannabinoids (MOJO), heroin, cocaine, xanax, drug paraphernalia, and approximately $2,900 in cash.

27-year-old Kaveria Million of Plaquemine was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of schedule IV CDS, possession of schedule V CDS, and drug paraphernalia.

Whitney Grant, 26, of Gonzales was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of schedule IV CDS, and possession of schedule V CDS.

Joslyn Saul, 20, of Baton Rouge was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of schedule V CDS, and drug paraphernalia.

Delaney Harris, 34, of Gonzales was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute synthetic cannabinoids, possession of schedule V CDS, possession of schedule IV CDS, and drug paraphernalia.

Gerald Collins, 25 of Gonzales was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute synthetic cannabinoids, possession of schedule V CDS, possession of schedule IV CDS, and drug paraphernalia.

Justin Bennet, 34 of Gonzales was arrested and charged with possession of schedule II CDS and possession of schedule IV CDS.

All were booked into the Ascension Parish Jail where no bond has been set yet.
