APSO is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Donovan Darville, 27, in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Country Drive in Gonzales at approximately 11:30am. According to witnesses, Darville shot the victim and fled the scene in a small maroon vehicle, possibly Honda, also occupied by an unidentified white male. The vehicle was last seen heading toward Germany Road. The victim died at the scene.

Donovan Darville is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him or the vehicle, immediately dial 911.

The victim’s information is being withheld at this time until family members are notified.
