Ascension Parish Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run late Saturday night in the Ascension Trace neighborhood in Darrow.
According to Chief Deputy Bobby Webre, at approximately 10 p.m. Saturday night, a dark colored sedan driving at a high rate of speed ran a stop sign and hit a residence on Hemmingway Drive in Darrow and left the scene. No one was injured.
As the investigation continued, deputies were able to view surveillance video to obtain a possible make and model of the vehicle. Deputies are now looking for a 2005-2010 model Chrysler 300 vehicle with heavy front end damage and missing the driver’s side mirror.
