Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking the identity of a suspect that is responsible for burglarizing a Carwash. According to the investigation the burglary occurred on Wednesday, October 21, just before midnight at the Bay Wash Carwash located on Airline Highway at Babin Road in Gonzales.

According to Major Kevin Hanna, the suspect is captured on surveillance video climbing a pipe to the roof of the carwash. The suspect then cut through the mechanical room and entered the building, destroying the change machine. Approximately $400 in quarters and small bills were stolen from the machine.
