Ascension Parish Sheriff’s detectives arrested 30-year-old Jeremy Conner on Wednesday afternoon, April 13, after he was found hiding in a 16-year-old girl’s closet, according to Lt. Col. Bobby Webre.

On April 8, juvenile detectives began investigating the incident and learned that Conner has been communicating with the juvenile since last year. Conner admitted to sending inappropriate text messages to the juvenile on various occasions.

Jeremy Conner, 30, of 12625 Coursey Blvd., Baton Rouge, was arrested and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile. He was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail where no bond has been set yet.

This case is still under investigation and more charges are possible.
