Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office uses Everbridge, a Community Alerting System that will notify you of an emergency.

This system allows us to alert you of emergency situations, Government news, and events. You can opt-in to enter your contact information and subscribe to notification(s) you care about based on your location. The information you provide is protected and will not be used for any other purpose.

HOW IT WORKS

When we issue a notification about a potential safety hazard or concern, you will receive a message on the voice or text communication methods that you have requested in your preferences. We will contact every method provided within your profile. This includes primary/secondary phone numbers for both text and phone call, email and any other information that is provided. The system will attempt to reach you at all the contact paths that you have registered.

SIGN UP FOR NOTIFICATIONS

Create an account and add your contact and location information into the Mass Notification system. You also could download the Everbridge application to your cell phone which will allow you to receive alerts via the app. All information you provide will be kept strictly confidential.

STOP RECEIVING NOTIFICATIONS

You can stop receiving at any time by removing your contact information from your profile.
