ONE ARRESTED; APSO SEEKING OTHER SUSPECTS IN SHOOTING IN BISHOP WOODS – 3/22/2017 3:38 PM

On Tuesday, March 21, deputies responded to the area of Josh Brown Road and Bishop Woods Road in reference to shots being fired in the area, according to Chief Deputy Bobby Webre.

Upon deputies’ arrival, they discovered a blue Oldsmobile Cutlass in the roadway that had both passenger side tires shot out.

APSO detectives began their investigation and learned that two males, later identified as Quanmaine Scott, 22, and Joseph Pindexter, 24, exited the vehicle and began an argument with four other males, two males identified as 28-yearold Arthur Braxton and Tyrone Wenzy, 35 and the other two are unidentified at this time. The verbal argument escalated to shots being fired at each other. There are no reported injuries in this incident, added Chief Webre.

Wenzy turned himself into authorities late Tuesday night and was arrested and charged with four counts attempted second-degree murder, aggravated damage to property, and illegal use of weapons.

APSO is actively searching for Arthur Braxton, Joseph Pindexter, Quanmaine Scott, and two additional unidentified suspects that were at the scene.

Braxton will be charged with four counts attempted second-degree murder, aggravated damage to property, and illegal use of weapons.

Joseph Pindexter will be charged with two counts attempted second-degree murder and illegal use of weapons.

Quanmaine Scott will be charged with two counts attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, and possession of firearm by convicted felon.

This case is still under investigation and more charges may be pending.
