According to Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Bobby Webre, deputies arrested 28-year-old Christopher Rodriguez for false impersonation of a police officer and special restrictions on flashing lights on Sunday night, January 22.
On Sunday night, deputies were dispatched to Van Broussard Road in reference to a suspicious person complaint. It was learned that on Saturday night, January 21, Rodriguez was driving a vehicle with flashing red lights and stopped another vehicle addressing himself as an undercover agent and displaying a gun on his side. Rodriguez let the victim go and was later arrested at his residence.
Christopher Rodriguez, 28, of 41075 Fairmont Street, Prairieville, was arrested and charged with false impersonation of a police officer and special restrictions on flashing lights.
He was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail where his bond was set at $100,000 by Judge LeBlanc.
