Phone Contact: 225.621.8363 Email Contact: lgremillion@ascensionsheriff.comCOL Laura Gremillion joined the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office as a 911 dispatcher in 1998 and now serves as Deputy Chief of Administration, overseeing many different agency-wide projects in policy, accreditation, research, and training. Her responsibilities extend to managing critical areas such as the Civil Unit and Administration Division, which includes Finance, Taxes, Human Resources, Recruiting and Retention, and the Business Office Units.
She graduated from the LSU Basic Training Academy in 2002, earned a master’s degree in criminal justice in 2010, and graduated from the FBI National Academy in 2022. She was recognized as Deputy of the Year in 2015 by the Knights of Columbus, served as a member of the Crisis Negotiation Team since 2009, and became the CALEA Accreditation Manager in 2019.
A native of Donaldsonville, COL Gremillion resides in Prairieville with her family.
