Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Bobby Webre reports the arrests of six individuals on drug charges at a residence on Josh Brown Road in Gonzales Tuesday night, December 13. One individual, identified as 40-year-old Allen Causey, is still at large.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant on Causey’s residence after a month long investigation into illegal drug sales taking place at the residence. While conducting the search of the residence, detectives located a quantity of Heroin, a quantity of Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Marijuana. Detectives also located a handgun inside the residence, added Chief Webre.
During the search, detectives’ located six individuals in the residence who were also arrested. Causey fled the residence and was not apprehended. Detectives also observed a 14-year-old juvenile in the residence who was released to next of kin.
Causey will be charged with distribution of Heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, illegal carrying of weapons, possession of drug paraphernalia, and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.
Paul Howard, 53, of 9428 Ester Street, Convent, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of heroin, and possession of methamphetamine. His bond was set at $40,000. Katherine Causey, 37, of 38285 Josh Brown Road, Gonzales, was charged with distribution of Heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, illegal carrying of weapons, possession of drug paraphernalia, and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.
She was released on a $70,000 bond.
Timothy Emerson, 41, of 3248 Mission Drive, Baton Rouge, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, illegal carrying of weapons, possession of drug paraphernalia, and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. His bond was set at $70,000.
Benissa Spears, 50, of 17433 Highway 933, Prairieville, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a $15,000 bond. Dana Banks, 41, of 9242 Ester Street, Convent, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of heroin, and possession of methamphetamine. His bond was set at $40,000.
Enrico Williams, 38, of 1131 E. Greenbriar Road, Gonzales was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of heroin, and possession of methamphetamine. His bond was set at $40,000.
All bonds were set by Judge Turner and four of the six individuals are still currently incarcerated.
